Dr. Ed Long

Dr. Ed puts an emphasis on patient comfort for a positive dental experience. His approach is comprehensive, allowing time to listen to his patients to find out their treatment goals. With his patients, he crafts a definitive life-time goal for a healthy smile for years to come. He says, "I got into dentistry because I like interacting with people directly and I enjoy making people happy." He and his wife, Dr. Denise Long who is also a dentist at our practice, moved to Madison from the St. Louis area.

Dr. Ed's advanced training has included Dental Boot Camp, the nation's premier practice management educational series. He has completed training at the prestigious PAC-Live (Pacific Aesthetic Continuum) for advanced aesthetic dental techniques including veneers, porcelain crowns and full mouth restorations. He's a certified Invisalign provider and has also completed certification for sedation dentistry.

When he's not hard at work creating beautiful smiles at the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Ed enjoys outdoor activities like mountain biking, downhill skiing, hiking and camping.
