Crowns
In the past, porcelain crowns were always built upon a metal core which
creates a dark blue line above the gum line. Crowns are now made entirely out of porcelain
which makes them look more natural and eliminates the dark line problem.
To the left is an example of how crowns can quickly restyle your
smile. A beautiful smile was created with just 20 crowns and in only 2 1/2 weeks.
If you have crooked teeth, crowns can quickly restyle your smile without braces.
Veneers
Veneers are made of a thin shell of porcelain or plastic that is
permanently bonded to the front surface of the tooth.
Veneers are used to treat some of the same dental problems as bonding,
including spaces between teeth, broken or chipped teeth and misshapen teeth. When teeth
are chipped or beginning to wear, veneers can protect them from damage and restore their
original appearance.
It usually takes two or more appointments to restore teeth with veneers.
So, you could start on a Monday and walk out with a natural looking smile by Friday (requires
advanced scheduling.)
