What does Center for Cosmetic Dentistry's own Dr. Chris Kammer have in common
with Metallica, Meat Loaf, Beyonce and Duran Duran???

Dr. Chris Kammer with Joe Lynn Turner, front man for
classic rock band's, Deep Purple & Rainbow
|
Well, he and his rock band
called The GenR8Ters (pronounced generators), were featured in the June/July 2003 issue of Maxim's
"Blender Magazine" on stands now. By day, Dr. Chris, is owner of Madison's Center for Cosmetic
Dentistry, runs a niche marketing firm for dentists, and travels nationwide for speaking engagements.
With whatever time he has left over, he jet-sets with other dentists from around the country,
as front man for the all-dental rock act, the GenR8Ter's! When these dentists get together they
scrap the dental instruments and grab their guitars. Most recently, Dr. Chris' band played to a
crowd of 500 at a dental convention in Miami, with special guest Joe Lynn Turner, former lead
singer of Deep Purple and Rainbow known for the hit "Stone Cold". It's true that Turner not a
dentist, but he is a patient to the GenR8Ter's drummer! Try to resist dismissing these guys as
disco docs, because they are actually platinum powered and serious fun for those lucky enough
to catch the act.
The GenR8Ter's were formed in 2001 by fellow dentist and platinum recording
artist, Dr. Bruce Murphy, who played a stint as lead guitarist Men Without Hats, best known for
the 80's pop hit "Safety Dance". The GenR8Ter's are currently in the process of creating a CD of
their recent Miami concert to raise money for the Children's Dental Health Network (CDHN). They
also look forward to making a Madison appearance at the Grand Opening of our future location in
Discovery Springs, Middleton next year. For more information, email Maurine Tiedeman
