MADISON, WI - August 12, 2003 - Dr. Chris Kammer, owner of
Madison's Center for Cosmetic Dentistry recently spoke to over 300 dentists from
around the U.S., Canada, Asia, and Europe at the East Coast Meeting of the World
Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI). The prestigious three day meeting was held in
Atlantic City, N.J.
Dr. Kammer is a nationally recognized expert on the latest
in high-tech and cosmetic dentistry and has been interviewed on various topics
for USA TODAY, CBS MarketWatch, REDBOOK, WOMEN'S WORLD, and various trade
publications.
Dr. Kammer commented, "The WCLI membership consists of
over 2,000 leading dentist from around the world. Just as lasers have significantly
advanced procedures for corrective eye surgery (LASIK), cosmetic procedures such as
laser wrinkle removal, hair removal, and numerous general surgical procedures;
Waterlase dentistry allows dentists to treat decay without traditional anesthesia,
needles, or drills in many cases. It also offers pain-free gum and periodontal
procedures that traditionally were referred to specialists."
The WCLI (www.NoPainDentistry.com) is the largest dental
laser organization in the world providing education, training and support for
dentists, hygienists and dental assistants on the clinical benefits and pain-free
treatments for patients of Waterlase dentistry. The WCLI promotes research and
development of advanced, pain-free laser technology to preserve tooth structure,
promoting life-long oral health. The goal is to avoid the need for 'adult
dentistry,' which would include, tooth extractions, crowns, root canals or
implants, many times due to damage done by traditional dental tools like the high
speed drill or amalgam fillings.
